Biography
Lewis Raines grew up in the lovely seaside town of Lytham in the North West of England. He began singing at age of 16 and went on to study Musical Theatre gaining BA(Hons) in 2011. Following on from this he was awarded a place at the prestigious Trinity College of Music in London earning a Bachelor's of Music Honours in 2015. It was during this time that Lewis discovered his love of classical voice and opera. Upon graduating, he enjoyed many years performing in opera companies around the world. Lewis has worked intensely with some of the worlds leading institutions, vocal practitioners from the Guildhall, Royal College of Music and most recently from ICPM London.
In 2018, Lewis won a nationwide audition lasting 5 months to become a member of the multi platinum vocal group G4, who shot to fame on the very first season of the X-Factor. G4 pioneered the world of popular opera with their iconic arrangements of popular music, with over 2 million albums sold in the UK. Lewis has performed in over a 100 UK sell-out tour dates as well as appearing on Television & Radio..
During the period when Lewis is off from touring with G4 he loves his work as a vocal coach in the North West of England. Lewis is frequently giving lectures and vocal tutoring at colleges and universities across the UK.

Coaching
Lewis has a holistic approach to his singing coaching, incorporating anatomy and physiology, breathing technique, and focusing his one-to-one coaching on giving his students confidence in their abilities and understanding vocal production. Using the skills that he has acquired throughout his career, Lewis focuses on unlocking the vocal potential of any aspiring singer to enable them to succeed in the music industry.
With inside knowledge of working with top-level singers, Lewis brings a wealth of knowledge to every lesson enabling you to build a wide ranging repertoire suitable for auditions, performances and recording.
Coaching sessions will promote maintaining good vocal health and understanding the importance of good technique to support you on your vocal journey.
With regular face-to-face coaching sessions, Lewis will nurture your talent and provide you with the skills to become a versatile performer and explore your future career ambitions.
Aspiring young artists will also be given one-to-one help on recording development skills, to use to showcase their talents and assist with editing, for presenting on an online platform for greater visibility and online presence.
Lewis offers private coaching in Bowdon, Cheshire and Lytham, Lancashire and works with indivdiuals, small ensembles and vocal groups.
